PRD Doctor

Side project
Built a free tool that scores a PRD out of 100 and quotes the exact sentences to fix, running entirely in the browser.
What I did
I built PRD Doctor, a free tool that reads a product requirements doc and scores it out of 100 across twelve categories reviewers look for, such as problem, users, evidence, metrics, risks and edge cases. For every gap it says what is missing and quotes a sentence from your own PRD, or says it found nothing, so it never makes anything up.
I wrote the scoring rules, designed the interface, and built it end to end with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind. Everything runs in the browser, so a confidential PRD is never uploaded. It reads pasted text, PDF, Word and Markdown files, lets you edit and re-score, and creates a share card with your score.
Results
I scored real PRDs by hand first, then tuned the tool against them. On four real PRDs it landed within about 2 points of my own score on average, and never more than 4 off.
It checks structure and specifics, not whether an idea is good, and the site says so. It is free, needs no account, and the code is open source.
Try it at prd-doctor.vercel.app or read the code on GitHub.
